Sophie purchased a 50% share in a 2 bedroom home on the Waddow View development in Clitheroe.

This is her Snugg Homes story…

“My name is Sophie and I am 22 years old.

After graduating from university, I moved back home with my parents and sister.

After staying there for two years, I felt I was ready to move out of my parent’s home and gain some independence.

I started looking through different properties on Rightmove, and that’s where I found out about Shared Ownership.

I was really drawn to Shared Ownership because it was the only way I was going to get on the property ladder and start the journey to owning my own home. I saw it as a way to live comfortably and still own part of a house.

My life has changed since the move and I have indeed become more independent; I have learnt to manage my money and I have also learnt to cook and clean – with some help!. Having the extra space has also enabled me to focus on my employment.

I’m very impressed with the finish of the house and that I was able to move in very quickly. I like my driveway too as I have my own visitor parking! It is the perfect size for me and not too big to manage.

Snugg Homes supported me all the way through the process, right from submitting the first initial form on the website.
