Rhiannon purchased a 3 bedroom semi-detached home on the Pine Falls development in Gelding, Nottingham.

This is her Snugg Homes story…

“I am 47 years of age, a single mother to a 14 year old and I work full time as Head of Faculty in a Nottinghamshire School.

Prior to moving, I had been living with my ex-partner in Mapperley. After our relationship broke down, I started looking on Rightmove for a new property, and that’s where I discovered Shared Ownership. I loved the fact that I would get to live in a nice home, that I could afford!

Now that I’m settled in, I feel in control, which brings a sense of calmness; my life is much more peaceful.

The house is small for a three bedroom property, however, it does meet my needs. I do feel that the builders rushed the properties, there were lots of careless mistakes such as paint splatters on doors, uneven piping around floor coverings etc.

The development itself is really nice, it’s not too crammed in. I have great neighbours and the majority of people on the estate are pleasant.
