Portia is now a proud owner of her new 2 bedroom mid mews home at Wrea Brook Park.

This is her Snugg Homes story…

“I am 23 years old, now living with my partner and two doggies – Rupert and Minnie. I was previously living with my parents in Preston.

When I’d finished university, and after the pandemic, I needed my independence back so mid 2022, I started looking for a new home of my own. Most of the properties within my budget were flats, but with 2 beloved dogs, I really wanted to buy a house with a garden.

I then found out about Shared Ownership and it seemed like a realistic option for buying a new build house in my own at the time. The scheme enabled me to buy a lovely first home within my budget.

Since moving in to my new home I have regained my independence and It’s been amazing to make the space my own.

The whole development and area is lovely. When viewing the house, I was surprised and delighted to see how well it had been finished. I couldn’t have picked better colours for either the kitchen or bathroom better myself. You can tell it has been built to a high specification. 

Samantha has been a dream to work with; this was my first experience of buying a house and she really helped me with all of the questions and worries I had.”
