Paul and Sandi are now owners of a beautiful 4 bedroom property.

This is their Snugg Homes story…

“We are 72 and 73 years old, and were previously living in a privately rented accommodation with our daughter. Our daughters circumstances then changed so we needed to move home, and we decided that we wanted to purchase.

We have known about the Shared Ownership scheme for a while, and saw it as a great opportunity; purchasing a percentage of a property suited us because we could only obtain a 12 year mortgage due to our age. 

We now feel very settled in our Shared Ownership property. It suits our needs and we are coping well financially.

The house is well insulated which bodes well for the winter months (and specifically the heating costs), and the development is good. There is some obvious building work going still going on, but that is to be expected until the development is complete. We do hope to see some more trees being planted around the development as it progresses.

Snugg Homes have been excellent from start to finish. Every member of staff that we encountered was polite, helpful and efficient. We’d like to give a special mention to Karen Hewitt who guided us through the whole process with her expertise.”
