Jo’s Snugg Homes Story…

“Snugg homes couldn’t have been more helpful. They were extremely sensitive to my situation and supported me through each step of the buying process”

Jo, 44, Great Eccleston.

Jo is loving life in her new 3 bedroom home at Thorne Meadows.

This is her Snugg Homes story…

“My name is Jo, I’m 44 and live on my own with my amazing dog. Before moving into my new Snugg home I lived in Inskip with my ex-partner. Covid was not kind to my profession (massage therapy) and I spent a lot of my savings on living and paying bills during the time I couldn’t work.

I needed to move house as I was experiencing emotional and mental abuse within my relationship at the time. I had been separated from my partner since the first Covid lockdown and worked hard to be in a position to buy a house. I was unable to find anywhere to rent as I have a dog and pets are prohibited in  many rental properties.

I found out about the Shared Ownership scheme whilst searching the internet for a home buying solution that would best suit me.

Shared Ownership meant I could afford the deposit, keep my dog and get out of the situation that I found myself in. It was a godsend!

My life has turned around! I’m much happier and I’m finding myself again; I finally have peace in my life.

I absolutely love my house and where it is situated; it’s my little sanctuary and I’m so glad I found Snugg Homes, without them I would still be trying to save a bigger deposit right now.

Snugg homes couldn’t have been more helpful. They were extremely sensitive to my situation, supported me through each step of the buying process and nothing was too much trouble. Even to the point where they chased my solicitor up for me if I was struggling within my situation. I really couldn’t have managed without them.”
