This is their Snugg Homes story…

“We had been trying to get on the property ladder for years, but we’d become stuck in the cycle of paying rent, which made it impossible for us to save enough money for a deposit on a place of our own. Then last year our landlady decided to sell the house, and so we had some tough decisions to make.

We knew that we wanted to buy, but to do that, we needed to save some money, fortunately for us, we were able to move in with my father-in-law whilst we put enough money aside for a deposit.

We’ve got a friend who had purchased a share in a home with Snugg Homes, and they couldn’t recommend them highly enough – they also praised the developer’s swift response when they had some snagging issues.

Shared ownership allowed us to take the next step without having to buy 100% of the house and the very large deposit that would require. We can still look to purchase 100% in the future, but we can staircase in increments – as we can afford it.

We have only lived here a very short time, but it feels like home already! The houses are beautiful, and the development has been well thought out, it’s so quiet and peaceful with only the odd train coming by behind the house. The park in the area attracts families with younger children like us and so even our daughter loves it; we feel complete!

Snugg Homes have been great from the moment we enquired! We must have called poor Gemma – our sales co-ordinator – weekly since the start of June! She supported us throughout the whole process – from application to greeting us at the door with our keys! The rest of the team have also been on hand when Gemma has been busy or been out of the office!
