This is Alison’s Snugg Homes story

“I had been living with my parents in Chorley for 4 years, but I really wanted my own space and independence. I started to save up and eventually had enough for a deposit for my own home.

Whilst I had been looking on Rightmove, I noticed some of the properties being advertised as ‘Shared Ownership’.  I didn’t really know much about it until I spoke to Karen at Snugg Homes; she explained everything to me.

With my traditional mortgage application based on a single income, I was very limited to the type of property I could afford.  Shared Ownership really helped me afford the home I really wanted.

Being a first time buyer, I was quite nervous and overwhelmed by everything and I had so many questions. Karen at Snugg Homes was excellent at explaining the process and she kept in touch with me every step of the way.

Owning my own home is amazing; I’ve now got the independence I craved, and I can do what I want, whenever I want.  My neighbours are lovely and so friendly and I’m so happy that I have a stunning home that I can decorate exactly how I want. The house is so beautiful and cosy, it’s in a quiet spot and faces a lovely country field. It’s even got a nice little garden to the rear; I can’t wait to have my friends and family over and show it off!

Also, the development is near to the M6 and very near to a train station, so the transport links are excellent.
